Spring may have been late and cold this year, but the children of Years 3 and 4 of Llandrindod Wells County Primary School have done their bit towards bringing Spring to town.
Under the guidance of the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust’s People and Wildlife Officer Linda Tedford and teacher Mrs Lorraine Cadwallader-Jones, the children welcomed signs of Spring by making daffodils, writing poems and colouring in butterflies and frogs.
Their work has been used to decorate the window of the Dental Surgery in The Spa Centre at Llandrindod Wells.
Dental practitioner Mr. J.L. Burton has kindly given the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust the use of this large display area.
Even when it seemed as though Spring would never arrive, passers-by in the alleyway next to Somerfields have been cheered by the children’s bright display.
